Two parts. (1) Use 7, 9, 6, 2 each once to make (two-digit) + (two-digit) = 105. (2) Use 8, 4, 5, 3 each once to make (two-digit) − (two-digit) = 16. Find all four equations for (1) and the equation for (2).

Strategy Make a Systematic List — There are only a handful of ways to split four digits into two two-digit numbers, so I can list the candidate pairings systematically. Looking at the ones digits first (what must they add to / subtract to) is an easier sub-question that quickly narrows the search before I check each candidate.
