Spot rotated copies of a given shape

Templates A, B and C are drawn on the left. A big square on the right is packed with unlabelled pieces. One piece congruent to each template hides there, only turned. Find them and write the right letter on each.

How to solve
Strategy Make a Systematic List — Trying to rotate each template in your head against every piece in turn is exhausting and unreliable, because a turned concave polygon looks nothing like itself. Instead I write down, for each template, a short list of facts that a turn cannot change — how many sides, how many inward corners, and how the side lengths compare. That list is an identity card. Then I run through the pieces in the square, throw out every piece whose card does not agree, and only mentally rotate the very few survivors. The candidate set is finite and small, so eliminating is safe here.

Each answer is a single piece, and the three pieces are different from one another and lie in three different parts of the square, which fits a puzzle that wants three separate letters written in. The sizes are sensible too: the piece labelled C is the smallest of the three, just as template C is the smallest of the three templates, and the piece labelled B is the largest, matching template B. The side counts of the chosen pieces (6, 8 and 5) match the templates exactly, and no template needed to be flipped over — only turned — which is what the problem said would happen.
