Reading the chocolate graph (each square = 50), the most was 200 on day 6 and the least was 100 on day 4: 200 - 100 = 100.
Highest minus lowest gives the spread of one data set.

Reading the strawberry graph (each square = 10, axis cut by a wavy line), the most was 230 and the least was 150: 230 - 150 = 80.
I use the actual numbers, not how tall the line looks, because the squares are worth different amounts.

Why?
The counts 230 and 150 are the real numbers read off the strawberry scale, not the heights the eye sees.

On this graph each small square stands for 10, so a point's value is its number of squares counted 10 at a time.
Why?
The axis is cut by a wavy line and labelled from 150 upward, so a point's value is the baseline 150 plus the tens marked above it.
Why?
The gap between the most and the fewest is how much you must add to the smaller count to reach the larger one, and subtracting 230 - 150 is what recovers that missing amount.
Compare the two ranges
Chocolate's range is 100 and strawberry's range is 80. Since 100 is greater than 80, chocolate has the larger difference.
Once both data sets are in real numbers, a plain comparison answers the question.
